The station occupies the north end of the former Thames Foot Tunnel built by Marc Isambard Brunel which was apart of the London Underground East London Line until 2006 when it was closed to become apart of the London Overground network.
There is no Step-Free Access available.

Cycling and WalkingEdit
The Thames Path National Trail passes the station on Wapping High Street for Cyclists and Walkers.
There is a Cycle Hire Docking Station located near the station on Wapping Lane.
