Walter Simon Pope (1838 - 11 November 1926) was a veterinary surgeon and local politician.

Born in Stepney, he moved to North Kensington, where he married Margaret Ross in 1864.

He sat as a Progressive Party member of the London County Council representing Kensington North from 1901-1907. He lost his seat at the 1907 county council election when the Municipal Reform Party swept into power.

He retired to Lee.
