A former market town and coaching stop, now part of London, in the London Borough of Hillingdon. It is served by Uxbridge Station - and formerly had two other, rail stations, Uxbridge High Street Station and Uxbridge Vine Street Station. The Grand Union Canal is close by, and the Treaty of Uxbridge was signed during the Civil War.
