A station now on the Northern Line in Travelcard Zone 4.
One of a group of stations which was opened as a railway station - in 1872 by the GNR and which was transferred to the London Underground as part of the Northern Line expansion in 1940 (the Northern Heights project).
Its goods yard was closed on 1 October 1962.
