Sir Stephen Jenyns (c.1450 - 1523) was Lord Mayor of London in 1508 - 1509.
Born in Wolverhampton, Jenyns moved to London where he became a merchant tailor, rising to be Master of the Worshipful Company of Merchant Taylors in 1489. In 1498 he was Sheriff of London and Middlesex. In 1499 he became an alderman for Castle Baynard Ward, later representing Dowgate Ward from 1505 and 1508 Lime Street Ward.
Elected Lord Mayor in 1508, in this capacity he attended the funeral of Henry VII and the coronation of Henry VIII at which time he was knighted.
He died in 1523 and was buried in Greyfriars Church, since destroyed.
