Stanley Charles Camps Harris (1901–85).
Born in Woolwich, he was the son of Charles Harris, a coal merchant's traveller.
A member of Woolwich Borough Council, he was briefly a Municipal Reform Party member of the London County Council when he was co-opted to fill a wartime vacancy on 31 July 1945 in the representation of Woolwich West. When elections were held in March 1946 he lost his seat to the Labour Party.
A member of the South East Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board, he was awarded the OBE in the 1957 Birthday Honours.
