Richard "Dickie" Brownrigg Butterfield (1925-17 June 2017) was a Conservative Party councillor.

Born in Wandsworth, he held a commission in the Grenadier Guards during the Second World War.

In 1958 he contested the London County Council election at Islington East without success.

A member of Holborn Borough Council, when the first elections to the London Borough councils were held in 1964 he was elected to represent Adelaide Ward on Camden Borough Council. At the 1967 Greater London Council election he became one of three councillors representing the London Borough of Camden. He did not stand at the next elections in 1970 and was declared bankrupt later in that year.[1]
