Labour Party member of the Greater London Council: Feltham and Heston 1981 – March 31, 1986 - Committee Chair Arts and Recreation 22 May 1984.
He later joined the Conservative Party and was elected to Hounslow London Borough Council to represent Feltham West in 2006
In 2008 he moved to Portsmouth and stood down from Hounslow council at the 2010 election.[1]
