Moorgate Underground Station (sometimes known as Moorgate Street) on the London Underground Metropolitan Line, Northern Line, Circle Line, and Hammersmith and City Line, as well as First Capital Connect services in the City of London in Moorgate.


The station is in Travelcard Zone 1. The Metropolitan Line platforms opened on 23 December 1865, the Widened Lines 1868, Northern Line February 1900. Scene of the 1975 Moorgate Train Crash were 43 people were killed.
