Dame Mabel Crout (6 January 1890 – 8 February 1987) was a local Labour Party politician active the Woolwich area.

She was a member of Woolwich Borough Council from 1919 until its abolition in 1965. She was Mayor of Woolwich in 1936-37 and was created an honorary freeman of the borough in 1959.

From 1949-1955 she also sat on the London County Council, representing Woolwich East.

When the borough of Woolwich was abolished and replaced by the larger London Borough of Greenwich in 1964 she became an alderman on the new council serving until 1971.

Served on the Rushcliffe Committee [1].
