Loughton Underground Station is on the London Underground Central Line (Epping Branch) outside Greater London in the Epping Forest District in Loughton IG10, in Travelcard Zone 6.


Opened 22 August 1856 by the Eastern Counties Railways which makes it one of the oldest stations operated on the network, being transferred 21 November 1948.
