This is a list of European Parliament constituencies in London from 1979 - 1999.

Constituencies for elections to the European Parliament were first created in 1979 by the grouping of existing Westminster constituencies. Each European constituency elected one Member of the European Parliament (MEP) by the first past the post system. European elections are held every five years.

UK Parliament constituencies were redistributed in 1983, and this was reflected by the reorganisation of European constituency boundaries at the next European election in 1984. The same boundaries were used in 1989 and 1994.

At the 1999 European election the single-member constituencies were abandoned, with multi-member "regional" seats using the d'Hondt method of party-list proportional representation. Since that date London has formed a single European constituency.
