Commander Lindsay Richard Venn (15 October 1883 - 31 December 1966) was a Royal Navy officer and politician.

Born in Edinburgh, he was the son of the Reverend Henry Venn, Honorary Canon of Canterbury and his wife Louise Jane nee Wardlaw-Ramsay.

On retirement from the navy he settled in the South Kensington area. He sat as a Municipal Reform Party member of the London County Council representing Hammersmith North from 1931-34.

He was buried in Brompton.
