Lieutenant-Commander Leslie Frank Ramseyer (February 1915-26 January 1966)
An electrical engineer and company director from Southgate, during the Second World War he served in the Royal Navy and was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross.
Conservative Party Member of the London County Council for Hammersmith South from 1949-52. At the 1951 general election he unsuccessfully contested the parliamentary constituency of Acton for the Conservative Party.
In 1966 he was found dead in his gas-filled flat near Marble Arch, apparently having taken his own life.
