Dr John Davies was an obstetrician and local politician.
A medical doctor who lived in Cambridge Gardens, Ladbroke Grove, in 1879 he became a fellow of the Hunterian Society, in 1884 he was elected a fellow of the Obstetrical Society of London and in 1898 a member of the West London Medico-Chirurgical Society.
He had a surgery at 91 New North road, Hoxton, and he sat as a Municipal Reform Party member of the London County Council representing Shoreditch (Hoxton) from 1907-10.
