(Emma) Jane Catherine Cobden Unwin, (1851–1947),

Suffragist and radical

Elected 1899 to the London County Council for the Progressive Party for Tower Hamlets (Bow and Bromley).

However, as a woman she was barred from taking her seat, making it effectively vacant from 1889 to 1892.
