Dr James Thomas Macnamara (c.1855 - 11 January 1935) was an Irish-born surgeon and Progressive Party politician.
Licensed by the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in 1876, he moved to London and was licensed by the Royal College of Physicians in 1881.
A vestryman and poor law guardian in the Rotherhithe area. Member of the London County Council elected 1892 (resigned 15 March 1894) Southwark, Rotherhithe.
Not to be confused with Thomas James Macnamara who served on the London School Board.
