A station on the Central Line and Piccadilly Line in Travelcard Zone 1. Opened on 15 December 1906. Known as Holborn (Kingsway) 1933 until the suffix was gradually dropped. British Museum Station was between Holborn and Tottenham Court Road Station. Aldwych Station was on a spur from Holborn. The British Museum and the Sir John Soane Museum are close by.
