Henry Samuel Friend (c.1830 - 16 July 1907) was a publican and local politician.

A licensed victualler, he was the landlord of The Cock Inn, Highbury. He was briefly a member of the Metropolitan Board of Works, representing Islington Vestry, from 1888-89.

He died, aged 77, and was buried in Highgate Cemetery.
