Sir Harry Edward Augustus Twyford (1870 - 10 January 1967) was a businessman and member of the Corporation of London.

He worked for the Eastern Extension, Australia and China Telegraph Company in their New Zealand station.

Returning to the U.K., he was the governing director of George Brettle, hosiery makers, and became alderman for Cripplegate Ward, Sheriff of the City of London in 1934 and Lord Mayor of London 1937-38. He was knighted in 1935 and awarded the KBE in 1938.

He served as Master of the Worshipful Company of Masons, Worshipful Company of Framework Knitters and Worshipful Company of Parish Clerks.

On 7 March 1944 he was appointed to fill a wartime vacancy on the London County Council as a Municipal Reform Party councillor representing the City of London. He stood down at the 1946 election.
