George Welsh Currie (9 February 1870 - 3 June 1950) was a Scottish-born politician and civil servant.
Born in Edinburgh, he was the son of a Church of Scotland minister. Originally involved in Unionist politics, he sat as member of parliament for Leith Burghs from 1914-18.
By 1919 he had moved to London and was living in Cadogan Place, Chelsea. He also moved to the left politically, and was elected as a Labour Party member of the London County Council representing Wandsworth Central at a by-election in May 1935. He became President of the Chelsea Labour Party in 1936, and was re-elected to his county council seat in 1937. He resigned from the county council on 27 December 1939.
