George Offor (1787 - 7 August 1864) was a book-seller, literary editor and collector.

He established himself as a book seller at Tower Hill specialising in sixteenth and seventeenth century English literature and theology, and amassed a large collection of bibles, psalters and testaments.

A member of the Baptist Church, he was an admirer of John Bunyan, and wrote a life of Bunyan and edited a three-volume collection of his works.

Member of the Fifth and final Commission (1854 - 1856) of the Metropolitan Commission of Sewers.

Member of the Metropolitan Board of Works, Hackney District, 1855 - 1862.

He died at his home in South Hackney aged 78, was buried at Abney Park Cemetery.
