George Ilsley (c.1823 - 27 July 1899) was a businessman and local politician in the Whitechapel area.

Carrying on business at 60 Great Prescot Street, Ilsley was active in the Church of England as senior churchwarden and chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Parish of St Mary Matfelon, Whitechapel.

Ilsley was chairman of the Whitechapel District Board of Works. He was briefly a member of the Metropolitan Board of Works when the sitting member for Whitechapel died in May 1888. The Metropolitan Board was abolished the following year.

He retired to Lee in the Kent suburbs, where he died aged 76. He was buried at Nunhead Cemetery
