Sir George Granville Leveson-Gower (19 May 1858 - 18 July 1951) was a civil servant and Liberal Party politician.[1]

Educated at Eton College and Balliol College, Oxford, in 1885 he was elected to the House of Commons and held a minor post in the cabinet of William Gladstone, but lost his seat in 1886. In 1890 he won another Commons seat and again served in government until he was unseated a second time in 1895.

In 1897 he was elected to the London School Board as a representative of the City of London, resigning in October 1899.

In 1921 he was appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath.[2]

He died in 1951 aged 93.
