George Buchanan Ryley (c.1843 - 20 October 1925) was a clergyman.

Born in Manchester, Ryley trained for the Congregational ministry at Cheshunt College. He was ordained in 1867 and was minister of the Hanover Chapel, Peckham from 1867 to 1893 and of Harley Street Independent Church, Bow from 1893 to 1897.

In 1888 he was elected to the London School Board as a representative for the Lambeth East Division.

In June 1897 Ryley became a member of the Church of England, and was ordained as a deacon, becoming a curate at St Mary's Battersea. He was ordained a priest in December of the same year. In 1906 he was appointed vicar of St Luke's, Whyteleafe, Surrey.

He died at his home in Croydon in 1925, aged 82.
