George Bethell Holmes (15 May 1830 – 11 May 1910) was a builder and politician.
He entered local politics as a member of Hackney Vestry in 1868. He was subsequently a member of Hackney District Board of Works and Hackney Borough Council
He was a Progressive Party Member of the London County Council representing Hackney South from 1889-95.
