Sir Francis Morris (1859 - 3 May 1944).

Morris was a justice of the peace for the County of London, and was involved in various forms of public and social work in statutory and charitable organisations.

These included:

  • Chairman of the Children’s Country Holidays Fund 1912–38
  • Chairman of the Metropolitan Asylums Board 1924-28
  • Vice-Chairman of Public Assistance Committee of the London County Council 1930–33
  • Chairman of Administrative Committee of Charity Organisation Society 1913–34
