Ethel Mary Rankin (nee Stock ) (28 August 1893 - 5 December 1956).

Born in Essex, she was the daughter of Alfred Stock, a gardener, and Jane Emma née Dyson.

She became a draper's assistant and in 1917 married Walter Rankin [1]. By the 1920s she was living in Fulham. Member Fulham Borough Council, 1934–49, Labour Party member of the London County Council representing Fulham West 1949-56.
