Enfield Town, also known as Enfield, is a large suburban town in Greater London, in the London Borough of Enfield and before 1965 in the county of Middlesex. It is 10.1 miles (16.3 km) north-northeast of Charing Cross and is London most northern area. Enfield is identified in the London Plan as one of 35 major centres in Greater London.
