Edward Ernest Woods (13 February 1896 - 4 December 1971) was a Labour Party politician in the Hammersmith area.
The son of a cheesemonger.
Member of the London County Council representing Hammersmith North 1949-65.
Alderman on Hammersmith Borough Council, served as Mayor of Hammersmith 1942-44. Edward Woods Estate built 1966-71 Edward Woods Community Hub. Hammersmith and Fulham
Awarded the OBE in the 1957 New Years Honours.
