Ealing was a parliamentary constituency centred on the Ealing district of west London. It returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, elected by the first past the post system.
The constituency was created by the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885 for the 1885 general election as a division of the parliamentary county of Middlesex, and included not just Ealing but also the neighbouring areas of Acton, Chiswick, Greenford, Perivale and Hanwell.
In 1918 parliamentary boundaries were altered and from then on the constituency was identical in area to the Municipal Borough of Ealing. The constituency was abolished for the 1945 general election. It was then replaced by the new Ealing East and Ealing West constituencies.
