Buckhurst Hill Underground Station is on the London Underground Central Line (Epping Branch) in Buckhurst Hill IG15 in outside Greater London in the Epping Forest District in Essex in Travelcard Zone 5.

History[]

Opened on 22 August 1856 by Eastern Counties Railways which makes it one of the oldest stations operated on the network. The station was transfer on 21 November 1948 to London Transport.
